Fellow medicinal chemist Derek Lowe highlighted on his site a recent piece by Michael Nielsen on Principles of Effective Research.
Nielsen, a physicist, deconstructs in his essay the ideal of research, or more precisely what goes into effective research. Obviously, if you are in research - especially in academia - you should read it, but I found that it applies to the larger field of business just as well. Read more…
