Hotel Lounges Currently at the Center of Nightlife

When I was heading over to the Thompson Hotel the other day for a birthday celebration, the cab driver and I shared notes - about the current hotspots for the drinking clientele. Between the two of us, we came up with a list of about a dozen places, all in just under 40 seconds. For starters, there’s the aforementioned Thom’s Bar (60 Thompson), competing with the SoHo Grand Lounge (310 W Broadway) and the bar at the W Hotel (201 Park Ave S). Continuing on, many people have frequented the Hudson Bar (356 W 58th) and the bar at the Mercer Hotel (147 Mercer). Finally, I wanna throw in one additional bar: a wine bar, romantic hideaway, great find, cheap drinks - check out Punch & Judy (26 Clinton). The ratings speak for themselves…
