Not much new, except enjoying life and living it up. Oh yes, I forgot: If you’re into the SoHo Grand Lounge music, go check out Analog Voyager on radiopower.org. Great music, including Ambient, TripHop, Downtempo and more… The photo was taken by Eleanor Tsang (one of my good friends) at a recent dinner party.
Some of you might remember my friend Ray, a designer/musician. Ray and I recently met up at one of New York’s many lounges and talked shop - how he got into web design, how his career took off and how it spread into many other areas such as producing music. Read more…
After headlining their evening edition a couple weeks ago with the term “Axis of Weasel”, the New York Post continues to ridicule some countries of the old Europe. Despite concerns about the appropriateness of their language, the imagery is so strong that I wanted to share the headline banner with you. See larger version…
Have you been following the whole debate on the high cost of prescription drugs ? Besides removing some already shuttered places (Scharmann’s), I wanted to share a bevy of new places. As usual, prescreened and a guarantee for a great night out! And because of general interest, I have made the list available for download (pdf). For those who don’t subscribe to New York Magazine, here’s their list of NYC’s 50 Best Bars (Feb 2003).
Well, you’re probably wondering “What the heck?!” Yet another revision on iserloh.com. This time, I have taken the time to recast the entire site as an XHTML/CSS2 compliant fluid layout. Yep, no tables to position anything. This code is composed so that there is no more code-fiddling to make the display come out correctly on any browser. Takes the guesswork out of things, is downloading way faster and is much easier to maintain. Plus, it is going with the times, 2003!! What’s in it for you ? Tons of new content, all collected within the last two months. By the way, the picture was taken by friend Garrison Hoffmann, at a fondue gathering celebrating the relaunch of iserloh.com.
