In Case You’ve Missed It

Published on April 26, 2003

You might be aware of my past work for a certain Pittsburgh technology company, aka Fluorous Technologies. Well, FTI decided to add a lot more content to its website and make the look more cohesive. To strengthen their brand, FTI’s marketing department did an awesome job, and the result is its new website, at www.fluorous.com.

What Exactly is Yoga?

Published on April 21, 2003

Having practiced yoga for little more than a year, I have come to notice that many people are unfamiliar with what yoga practice entails. Most simply assume that it must be something like sitting around and meditating. Let me attempt to key you in on the basics….

Costa Rica Yoga Retreat

See Costa Rica Pictures Finally: More than 150 pictures from our recent week-long trip to Costa Rica have been posted. Costa Rica is a beautiful country, and you’ll catch a glimpse of that from the pictures. The country is home to 5 percent of the world’s biodiversity, has 8 active vulcanoes, and is very peaceful. Something that’s hard to come by these days….

One of the benefits of the Sueno Azul Resort was the total media blackout - no TV, no radio, no newspapers, cellphones and internet. We left NYC with SARS and Iraq going on, only to reemerge 10 days later to a somewhat different world. But I’ll post my musings on this topic later. At any rate, we spend the week sleeping and eating, only interrupted by two yoga classes a day, swimming in the river, horseback riding to waterfalls, watching butterfly gardens and trekking through the rain forest. No wonder that we felt tired. Go see the pictures…

Back with Regular Postings

After about four months of only sporadic postings, April marks my return to faithfully filter out some of the best from the internet - out of the 20+ billion webpages or so. Naturally, you’ll wonder what has been going on during this time span.

After our recent trip to Costa Rica (see above), I spent the last week putting together a photo website - a place where I’ll ultimately move all the photos from this website.

The bulk of the four months since the christmas holidays, I was busy putting the final touches on Fluorous Technologies website. Going hand in hand with FTI’s rebranding and exhibition booth design, the new website features a ton of useful content. In addition, I am excited to have mastered a bevy of new technologies, from java-script drop-down menus, pop-up windows, registration forms to a search engine (all stuff that potential clients will be interested). Go check out Fluorous Technologies new website!
